Val Di Terra gins are made by Master Distiller, Riana Macdougall, who wone Women Distiller of the Year in 2020. The gins are micro-distilled in small batches and the range includes two gins: Memoir which is infused with African Baobab, Hibiscus and Rhubarb botanicals and Classic which is a herbaceous gin with hints of Thyme and Rosemary.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Enjoyably fruity on the nose, with rhubarb preserve and baked apple. The baobab and hibiscus contribute to the fruit and floral aromas.
PALATE
Orange and coriander arrive on the palate, though it’s still dominated by rhubarb. On tasting it surprises with an evocative almost nostalgic sweetness followed by a tart crisp edge from the baobab and hibiscus. This gin is slightly softer than traditional gins with smooth juniper and citrus notes.
FINISH
The finish delivers a tangy touch of tartness and lingers with notes of honey and citrus peel marmalade.
